Balytska M. Ensuring financial sustainability of the insurance company in Ukraine

The dissertation is devoted to the research of the main aspects of ensuring the financial sustainability of an insurance company in Ukraine. An extended interpretation of the concept of "financial sustainability of an insurance company" is proposed, in which particular attention is paid to the cash flows of the insurer. The classification of the factors influencing the financial sustainability of the insurer has been improved. From the set of factors of the internal environment, five main ones are distinguished: tariff policy, investment policy, reinsurance system, amount of equity, composition and structure of insurance reserves. Structuring factors of the external environment of the insurance company by their belonging to one or another level of the economic system also made it possible to identify the following types: global, macroeconomic and mesoeconomic. It is determined that in spite of the classification division, all these factors are interrelated, and the change of one of them is reflected on all others.
