Essay

The thesis presents the historical, theoretical and methodological principles of human rights research on freedom of movement and free choice of place of residence. Based on integral (complex) concept of legal thinking, the author's definition of human rights to freedom of movement and free choice of place of residence is given.Their place in the system of basic human rights and freedoms has been determined.The basic stages of realization of human rights to freedom of movement and free choice of place of residence are substantiated. Definitions are suggested "Legal relations in the sphere of human rights for freedom of movement and free choice of residence in Ukraine";"Restrictions on the rights to freedom of movement and free choice of residence".The mechanism of realization of human rights to freedom of movement and free choice of residence in Ukraine is revealed. On the basis of legal analysis of general theoretical positions on understanding of guarantees of human rights and freedoms, the definition of guarantees of realization of human rights for freedom of movement and free choice of place of residence is formulated. The study of international legal standards for the exercise of human rights to freedom of movement and free choice of place of residence has led to the conclusion that the current principles and rules of international law substantially supplement the relevant provisions of national legal systems.
