Senchenko O. The book as a tool of "soft power" in information and network wars

The thesis is the first comprehensive scientific research of social and communication aspects of the "soft power" of the book in information and network warfare. The dissertation reflects a comprehensive approuch to the study of the book as an instrument of information and network wars, which makes it possible to form a new mechanism for influencing the way of life and thoughts of new generations, new societies, pfrticipants of social communications system, to use the soft power of the book as an instrument for counteracting destructive tendencies of modern society, reducing the education, scientifi and intellectual level of the Ukrainian nation. The "soft power" of the book is concidered as a powerful component of the formation of universal values and national consciousness of Ukrainian society. Based on a thorough bibliometric and content analysis of Ukrainian book publishing and Russian books publshed during 2013-2017, the use of the "soft power" of the book in the hibrid war is shown.
