Essay

The dissertation is devoted to new technological aspects of rearing European perch and zander in the early stages of ontogenesis. As part of the work done, the possibility of transferring European perch larvae to dry food in extremely early periods (already 20 days after hatching) was proved for the first time without loss of growth rate and other fish-biological indicators. When comparing the fish breeding and biological parameters of perch larvae from two different Hungarian populations, differences in eating behavior and level of aggressiveness affecting the magnitude of cannibalism, as well as differences in the level of size-weight heterogeneity of the resulting population, were noted. It is established that the use of a solution of milk with kaolin in intensive conditions of mass production of planting material is the most optimal way to de-stick pike perch caviar, which does not depend on the chemical composition of water.
