Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the study of the basis of fishery and biological indicators and the estimation of the efficiency of cultivation of brook trout and rainbow trout in the conditions of the Carpathian region. For the first time in the conditions of trout enterprise of Carpathian region with river water supply, the linear and weight growth of brook trout and rainbow trout were comprehensively analyzed, the external characteristics were made and the qualitative indicators of free embryos and muscle tissue were compared. In order to increase the efficiency of salmon fish cultivation in the cold-water farms of the Carpathian region, it is recommended to combine rainbow trout cultivation with brook trout (Salvelinus fontinalis M.), which makes it possible to obtain commercial fish at an earlier date and to provide a longer period of sale.
