Essay

The dissertation is devoted to scientific substantiation, development and implementation of the model of monitoring indicators of health status of rural population at the regional level, taking into account medical and social determinants. It has been determined that in Ukraine, where life expectancy is low, social inequality of the population is constantly increasing. It prevents the formation of social capital, which, in turn, has a negative impact on public health. The weakening of social capital leads to the disunity of society, the growth in its members of the feeling of isolation and vulnerability to social disadvantages, this is especially evident in the countryside. The share of the rural population in Ukraine is 30.7%. Based on the results, a conceptual model for monitoring the indicators of health status of rural population at the regional level was developed, taking into account the medical and social determinants. During the preparation, development and implementation of this model, the following principles of its construction were used: objectivity and reliability, systematic monitoring of health status, multilevel, consistency of normative and methodological support, coherence of technical and software provision, complexity in the assessment of health status, the speed of information passing between the individual links, the openness of information for the population, which meets the modern medical requirements and strategy of reform of the health care system.
