Dissertation research is the first comprehensive study of the legal regulation of the marine environment protection in the domestic international legal doctrine. The formulated conceptual conclusions and results contain scientific novelty and substantiate new theories, concepts and provisions important for legal science. The dissertation investigates the conceptual mechanism of conservation and protection of the marine environment on the basis of existing international legal doctrine, proposes the classification of natural marine objects, and establishes a system of principles for the protection of the marine environment.
