The dissertation deals with the problem of the innovative development of teachers in the system of methodical work in institutions of general secondary education. The object of the dissertation is the innovative development of teachers in institutions of general secondary education. The subject of the research is the organizational and pedagogical principles of the innovative development of teachers in the system of methodical work in institutions of general secondary education. The purpose of the paper is to substantiate theoretically and experimentally test the organizational and pedagogical principles of the innovative development of teachers in the systematic work in institutions of general secondary education. It has been determined that the system of methodical work in institutions of general secondary education is, on the one hand, an effective mechanism for the development of professional competence, and on the other, a product of the creative, predictive, investigative, and constructive innovative activity of teachers as subjects of this system. The structure and peculiarities of methodical work in the modern institutions of general secondary education, which is considered as a holistic system of conditions that promote self-development of teachers, stimulate them to develop individual and authorial pedagogical systems; ensure the development of the creative potential of each teacher and the teaching staff as a whole, and, ultimately, the quality and effectiveness of the educational process at school. The concept of "organizational and pedagogical foundations" is defined as a set of conceptually significant provisions, which is a theoretical and practical assumption to implement the process of the innovative development of teachers in the systematic work in the institutions of general secondary education. For the first time, the organizational and pedagogical foundations of the innovative development teachers in the system of methodical work in institutions of general secondary education, directly or indirectly influencing this process, are substantiated. Namely: the indirect ones (adherence to the laws, principles of and approaches to innovative development, state educational policy, innovative spirit of the team and management, etc.); the direct (continuity of professional growth of teachers in the system of methodological work; appropriate motivation; informational support in the system of scientific and methodological work of the institutions of general secondary education; creation of developmental educational environment to realize the desire of teachers for self-education, the dynamics of which is realized through the introduction of an innovative approach in daily practice; management, etc.). The experimental verification of the effectiveness of grounded organizational and pedagogical foundations of the innovative development of teachers in the system of schoolwork is carried out. It is established that the unity of educational goals, effective stimulation of cognitive and professional motivation of teachers and organization of methodical work as a process of creative search and innovative development, ensure their effectiveness. The innovative development of teachers was carried out in three dimensions: organizational, psychological and pedagogical, and technological. The method of organization of experimental work, which took place as a process of consistent and multilevel entry of teachers in the innovative educational space in the educational institutions regarding the complex design of scientific and methodical measures for personal and professional innovative development of teachers based on systemic, personal, active, competence, is presented. The Program of Methodical Work of Experimental Establishments on the Innovative Development of Teachers, Methodical Recommendations on the Methodical Work Organization is presented. Some practical and diagnostic measures are presented, etc. Quantitative and qualitative data processing, analysis, and verification of the results of the experimental study on their statistical significance were performed. The effectiveness of the organizational and methodological support of the innovative development of teachers in the system of methodical work in institutions of general secondary education has been experimentally confirmed.
