The dissertation is devoted to a comprehensive study of the problems associated with forensic scientific centers and schools in Ukraine. The scientific work examines the genesis, formation, development, current state of forensic scientific centers and scientific schools in Ukraine. The issues of forensic support in scientific activity are considered, the system, structure and the content of the concept of “security” are disclosed. The possibilities of science creation and their influence on the formation of forensic science centers and scientific schools in Ukraine are highlighted. The concept of “knowledge of science” is revealed, the position of the dissertation on the possibilities of knowledge of science and input on the formation of scientific forensic centers and schools in Ukraine is shown. The general characteristics of forensic science centers and schools are disclosed and their main criteria are identified.
