Tarhoniy M. Substantiation of energy efficient water supply management on irrigation systems

The theoretical generalization and the new decision of the actual scientific and applied problem concerning a substantiation of energy-efficient management of water supply on subsurface irrigation system (SIS) are stated in dissertation. According to the results of experimental studies, it is proved that the vast majority of existing SIS work with significant technological losses of energy resources due to their long-term operation, insufficient of organizational and technical level of operation, as well as significant deterioration of technical conditions and hydraulic characteristics of subsurface irrigation network (SIN). The technology of water supply control at SIS on the basis of application of the automated electric drive with frequency convertor and the distributed of monitoring system of technological parameters of sprinkling machine were substantiated. Evaluation criteria and their parameters are established, technological conditions of energy-efficient water supply management at SIS at application of the frequencycontrolled electric drive on lifting pump stations are developed. Scientific and methodological recommendations and guidelines for producers to improve the energy efficiency of water supply of SIS, implementation of which reduces the specific quantity of electricity for water pumping, optimize the modes of joint operation of the pumping station with SIN and increase their operational reliability has been developed.
