In the dissertation the conceptual principles of reengineering administrative and managerial processes of local self-government bodies based on the use of modern information technologies and information provision in local self-government are grounded in order to increase responsibility of local self-government bodies and officials. The distinctive features of the administrative-management process and the main theories that underlie the application of reengineering of administrative and managerial processes and functions of local self-government bodies in domestic practice are singled out. The methods of applying reengineering are divided, which are divided into classes. The general and special principles of the administrative and management process are singled out. The main components of reengineering of administrative and managerial processes of local self-government bodies are identified. It was shown that reengineering involves restructuring of administrative and managerial processes, aimed at improving the activities of local self-government bodies. The general directions concerning introduction of reengineering in local self-government bodies are formulated. The basic components of simulation of the activities of local governments with the use of reengineering are determined. The model of activity of the local self-government body based on reengineering of administrative and managerial processes is proposed
