Essay

The thesis generalizes and proposes theoretical and methodological bases for solving the problem of formation of foreigners’ motivation – future aviation specialists to professional communication in the process of education in the flight establishment of higher education. The concept of «motivation of foreigners – future aviation professionals for professional communication» as «a system of external and internal motives interacting in certain communication situations, which is characterized by specific content of aviation environment’s activity and needs of foreing students». The content components of preparation for forming motivation for professional communication were characterized: valuable, cognitive, communicative, personal. According to these components, criteria (motivational-value, cognitive-activity, interactive-speech, reflexive) and their indicators are defined. According to the criteria and indicators, low, medium and high levels of motivation of foreigners – future aviation specialists to professional communication was differentiated. It was distinguished the pedagogical conditions of formation of foreigners’ motivation – future aviation specialists to professional communication such as: the development of critical thinking in the process of forming positive motivation for professional English-speaking communication; the usage of information and communication technologies into the educational process of foreign students; optimization of foreign students’ independent work in the process of foreign language studying, which will promote a harmonious educational process and formation of positive motivation for professional communication of future foreign aviation specialists.
