Yehorova S. Scientific support for water resources for agricultural land reclamation in Ukraine (second half of XX – beginning of XXI centuries)

The dissertation is a complex scientific and historical research in which, based on the use of a versatile source base and methodological approaches, an analysis of the organization of scientific support of water resources for agricultural land reclamation of Ukraine is provided. The historical features of the formation and development of scientific thought on the problem of research are determined. The contribution of higher education institutions, research institutions and individuals to the organization of scientific provision of water resources for irrigated and drained land reclamation in different soil and climatic conditions of Ukraine is investigated. The peculiarities of state regulation of water management and water resources management in agriculture have been established. The important role of the scientific and organizational activity of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine was determined, which was to coordinate research work in the field of development and improvement of innovative technologies for agricultural land reclamation. It has been found out that computer technologies, taking into account the latest developments of scientists, were of great importance for the balanced use of water resources in the land improvement of Ukraine.
