Object – ethical consciousness of student youth; purpose - theoretical substantiation and experimental research of psychological factors of development of ethical consciousness of student's youth; methods - theoretical (analysis, systematization and generalization), empirical, mathematical and statistical methods of data processing; novelty - for the first time theoretically substantiated and empirically verified the structure and criteria of development of ethical consciousness of students in the unity of its components: meanings expressed by moral norms and categories, meanings expressed by personal values, motives of moral behavior, goodwill, moral, ethical responsibility sensory tissue, which is characterized by the peculiarity of the perception of moral norms, events and actions; for the first time the positive dynamics of ethical consciousness of students at the level of meanings and meanings through the growth of the level of moral judgments, conscientiousness and moral and ethical responsibility is shown; psychological factors of development of ethical consciousness of student's youth are defined for the first time, namely: need for self-actualization, clarity of self-concept, reflexivity, aspiration to autonomy, responsibility and self-regulation; the idea of self-regulation of the student's personality is expanded by revealing the influence of its types on the development of ethical consciousness; expanded the idea of terminal and instrumental spiritual values through the characteristics of their age dynamics in the semantic component of the ethical consciousness of students; expanded the idea of ethical consciousness as a dynamic mental formation filled with moral meanings, meanings and sensory content, dictated by the specifics of individual ethics and morality, as well as the social situation of student personality - the need for self-actualization and acceptance of their own ethical and moral system; the possibility of psychosemantic differential in the study of ethical consciousness of the individual at the level of sensory tissue is received further development; means of psychological support for the development of ethical consciousness of student youth through the creation of a program aimed at updating its psychological factors are received further development; results - in-depth ideas about the psychological phenomenology of ethical consciousness, in particular student youth; about the structure and psychological factors of ethical consciousness; on the dynamics of the development of ethical consciousness of the individual in the period of higher education; developed and tested a program of psychological support for the development of morality and ethical consciousness of students, which aims to update its psychological factors (the need for self-actualization, clarity of self-concept, reflexivity, desire for autonomy, responsibility and self-regulation). The results can be used in the development of special courses and teaching subjects of the psychological cycle in higher education institutions, as well as as a psychological tool of a developmental nature. The results of the dissertation research are introduced into the educational process of higher education institutions of Ukraine; area – psychology.
