The scientific novelty of the obtained results is that: for the first time the model of preparation of future teachers of the basics of health for the application of functional asymmetry of the human brain in professional activities, as an open dynamic system that includes methodological and target (purpose, tasks, approaches, principles, pedagogical conditions), practical (stages, content, forms, methods, tools) and control-effective (components, criteria, indicators, levels, results) blocks, was developed, substantiated theoretically and tested experimentally. The essence of the concept "readiness of future teachers of the basics of health to application of functional asymmetry of the human brain in professional activity" and the its structural components (motivational, cognitive, activity, reflexive) are defined. Criteria (value-motivational, cognitive, behavioral, evaluative), indicators (motivation to use functional asymmetry of the human brain; neuropsychological awareness, ability lateral diagnostics, the ability to lateral support of the lesson, the ability to reflect) are developed.
