Sheremeta O. Formation of health-preserving competence to future officers of the State Criminal Executive Service of Ukraine in the course of professional training.

The thesis is devoted to the study of the problem of formation of health-preserving competence to future officers of the State Criminal Executive Service of Ukraine in the course of their professional training. The essence of the concept of «health-preserving competence of future officers of the State Criminal-Executive Service of Ukraine» has been defined, the diagnostic apparatus has been improved in order to find out the state of the formation of the competence through the use of criteria (motivational, cognitive and activity), the corresponding indicators, as well as the characteristics of levels (critical, sufficient and high). Scientific ideas about the content of health-preserving competence of future specialists of the State Criminal Executive Service of Ukraine have further been developed. Pedagogical conditions for formation of health-preserving competence have been grounded (organization of educational work through the introduction of a special facultative to teach future officers about the essence of health- preserving competence and basic rules of healthy lifestyle; use of innovative training methods to provide future specialists with experience in health care and the development of the social component of health; conducting trainings to develop mental health skills to future officers; harnessing the potential of the research work to increase the knowledge about healthy lifestyles and acquire skills to address complex health-saving issues). According to the results of the research, methodical recommendations have been developed for scientific and pedagogical staff on the formation of health-preserving competence to future officers of the State Criminal Executive Service of Ukraine in the course of their professional training.
