Essay

The dissertation implements the theoretical development and pilot testing the model of formation the Ukrainian language and literature future teachers’ linguistic-ethnographic competence in the process of studying professional disciplines and the pedagogical conditions of its realization are substantiated. Based on the analysis of Ukrainian and foreign sources, the content and structure of linguistic-ethnographic competence of Ukrainian language and literature future teachers, formed in the process of studying the professional disciplines, are substantiated. The components of this quality are defined as axiological-regulatory, informative-contextual, praxeological. It was found that the value potential of linguistic-ethnographic studies in training the Ukrainian language and literature future teachers is the use of interdisciplinary links with related sciences, structuring the content of professional training based on the integration of achievements of cultural, philological, Ukrainian studies disciplines, in the studying of relevant realities, taking into account the territorial and social differentiation, enriching the forms and methods of professional practices, problematique of scientific-research work the future teachers of the Ukrainian language and literature. There are defined criteria and indicators of formation the linguistic-ethnographic competence of the Ukrainian language and literature future teachers according to which diagnostics the levels of possession this quality is carried out. There are substantiated the pedagogical conditions for the formation the future philologist teachers' linguistic-ethnographic competence in the process of studying the professional disciplines: updating the content of the professional disciplines based on the use of the value potential of linguistic-ethnographic studies; introduction of interactive forms and methods in the process of studying the professional disciplines; intensification of educational and scientific-research training of the Ukrainian language and literature future teachers on the basis of interdisciplinary connections. The determined pedagogical conditions are aimed at the introduction the model of formation the linguistic-ethnographic competence of the Ukrainian language and literature future teachers in the process of studying professional disciplines, which is based on the provisions of the methodological approaches (competence, axiological, culturological, multicultural, activity, integrative) and general and specific principles, implemented within the target, methodological, procedural, diagnostic and effective blocks, in the process of value-regulatory, informational, activity-reflexive stages. The result of the model implementation is the formed high (creative) and average (reproductive) levels of linguistic-ethnographic competence of the Ukrainian language and literature future teachers.
