Тhe dissertation is devoted to the problem of organization of complex competitions in non - оlympic sports. The main components of the projects organization are identified. There are organizational and managerial, legal, economic, informational, logistical and personnel. The features of their realization during the World Games, World Games SportAccord and All-Ukrainian complex competitions in non-оlympic sports were highlighted. In our studies we have developed a periodization of the World Games in the context of their conduct: I period from 1981 to 1985 (I-II World Games), II period from 1989 to 1997 (III-VI World Games), III period – from 2001 until the present (since the 6th World Games). There were used the following criteria to determine the periods: structure and directions of activity of organizational committees, ways to attract private investment, media coverage, volunteering and availability of subsidies from local budgets. There were determined the peculiarities of realization of the main components of the organization of international complex competitions on non-оlympic kind of sports. The specificity of the World Games is the absence of mandatory requirements for the organizing city for the construction of facilities for competition; formation of a five organizational and management level structure, implementation of advertising and sponsorship programs involving a large number of national companies. The SportAccord World Games is characterized by the use of the existing infrastructure of the organizing cities; formation of a six organizational and management level structure for competitions; implementation of sponsorship programs with a limited number of sponsoring companies.
