The present dissertation is dedicated to the optimization and improvement of present technology of breeding of downstream migrant juveniles of sturgeon and sterlet fingerlings taking into account current requirements of aquaculture. Breeding of downstream migrant juveniles of sturgeon in the ponds at the initial holding density of grown-up fry in 98.00 thousand specimens per hectare provided the receiving of average final mass of experimental material within the limits of 3,1–3,6 g with output 74.7–76.5% and average fish capacity 234.8 kg/ha. Breeding of starlet fingerlings in the ponds at the initial holding density of grown-up fry in 79.0 thousand specimens per hectare provided the receiving of average final mass of experimental material within the limits of 3.6–4.4 g with output 70.3 – 82.8% and average fish capacity 238.1 kg/ha. A stocking material with average capacity within the limits of 2.77–4.95 g with output 66.7–76.8% average fish capacity 270.2 kg/ha had received for the application of organic and mineral fertilizers in the period of breeding of starlet fingerlings with holding density 95-100 thousand specimens per hectare.
