Essay

Object of research: public administration in the field of international relations. Purpose: theoretical justification and development of practical recommendations for improving the mechanisms for protecting the national interests of Ukraine in the field of international relations. Methods: logical-semantic; comparative analysis; analysis and synthesis; observation and theoretical generalization; structural modeling method; methods of strategic planning and forecasting. Results: theoretically substantiated and scientifically developed practical recommendations for improving the mechanisms for protecting the national interests of Ukraine in the field of international relations. Novelty: well-grounded conceptual foundations of the Strategy for the formation and implementation of mechanisms to protect the national interests of Ukraine in the field of international relations in the context of modern international challenges; the essence of the political and administrative system has been improved, the instrumental part of which is the interests of the actors, they participate in the process of public administration; provision on the relationship between the political and administrative regime of the state and national interests; a methodological approach to improving the comprehensive mechanism for protecting the national interests of Ukraine in the field of international relations; a systematic approach to strategic planning for resolving interstate conflicts and disputes; received further development: a practical approach to the transformation of mechanisms for protecting Ukraine's national interests in the field of international relations based on the principles of external openness, multi-vector, pragmatism, proactivity and multilateralism; generalization of world trends and systematization of conceptual approaches regarding the peculiarities of the formation of mechanisms for the protection of national interests in the field of international relations in various countries. Introduced into activity: by the National Agency of Ukraine for Civil Service, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the National University of Civil Defence of Ukraine. Fields of application: state administration bodies, local authorities and self-government bodies, public organizations.
