Shevchenko Y. Investment behaviour of TNCs in a global turbulent environment

The thesis is devoted to the complex research of the globalization paradigm of investment behaviour of transnational corporations. It examines the genesis of international investment theories and models and investment behaviour of TNCs. It reveals the dilemma of essential identification of the concept of investment behaviour of TNCs. The thesis develops theoretical approaches to the classification of manifestations of investment behaviour of TNCs, distinguishing five main types (superexpansive, expansive, liberal, conservative and mixed) according to the criteria defined by the author. It elaborates a typology of foreign and Ukrainian TNCs by kinds of investment behaviour and characterises their motives for entering foreign markets.
