Essay

The thesis is devoted to research of the problem of formation of future specialists competitiveness in information technology in technical colleges. The thesis presents a theoretically grounded and experimentally tested model of formation of future specialists competitiveness in information technology in technical colleges and the technology of its implementation. The scientific novelty of the results of the thesis research is that for the first time the content of the concept of "competitiveness of future information technology specialists" is defined as a complex characteristic projected on all spheres of a specialist's life, allowing him, according to the level of professional training and professional-personal qualities, to participate and gain advantages in competitive relations in the field of information technology. The author has clearly defined the structural components and criteria of future IT specialists competitiveness (motivational-value, cognitive, activity, personality-reflexive), indicators (value orientations and motivation; mastery levels of professional knowledge; levels of formation of professional skills; abilities of personal qualification) and the levels (high, medium, low) of the competitiveness of future IT specialists in technical colleges. The complex of pedagogical conditions is determined, the compliance of which contributes to the formation of future specialists competitiveness in information technology in technical colleges, including: creation educational environment that will promote the development of competitive activity between participants of the educational process; providing conditions for the development of students' motivation for professional growth; use of innovative pedagogical technologies in the process of formation of future specialists competitiveness; enhancement of psychological and pedagogical competence of college teachers. The author has created the model of formation of future specialists competitiveness in information technology in technical colleges which comprises the following components: methodological-target (aim, tasks, approach, and principles of formation of future specialists competitiveness in IT technology), substantive-procedural (structural components of competitiveness, methods, tools and forms that are implemented through a set of defined pedagogical conditions of formation and further development of future specialists competitiveness) and effectiveness-evaluation (diagnostic methods, levels, formation rates of future specialists) competitiveness in IT technology. The practical significance of the study is to develop guidelines for implementing a model of competitiveness of future IT professionals.
