The thesis considers the decorative art of Ukraine of the latter half of the XXth to early the XXIst centuries in terms of its figurative-plastic evolution and artistic-stylistic transformations. There is a comprehensive analysis of general developmental trends in such fundamental kinds of the Ukrainian decorative art as ceramics, glass, textiles being the most developed and modernized ones, where new features of artistic imagery and shaping were most pronounced in the period of the 1990s to 2010s. Presented are the works of professional artists of fictility, glass, tapestry, painting on fabric, and unconventional textiles, which are distinguished by the singularity of their artistic and formal solutions due to their authors' creative rethinking of national traditions, as well as their mastery of global artistic experience. There is a study of a degree of globalization processes' influence on decorative art, which is considered in the context of such an important factor for the XXIst-century Ukrainian society as national-cultural identity.
