Ryschnyak O. Restoration Activity as a Form of Preservation of Culture Heritage.

The paper investigates restoration activity as a separate type of human activity aimed at preserving objects of cultural heritage for present and future generations. Using the experience of foreign and Ukrainian experts, agreeing on the provisions and principles of modern restoration, the basic theoretical concepts of restoration were analyzed. The research will allow directing the development of Ukrainian restoration science in the direction of world trends, new conservation concepts and innovative methods. It will deepen the understanding of the directions of modern restoration, allow establishing the relationship between the scientific community and other social groups, and allow the introduction of the methods of participation for the preservation of cultural heritage sites.
