The efficacy of the competence-oriented model of the legal competence formation
of future physicians in the process of studying Medical Law has firstly been theoretically
substantiated, elaborated, tested and experimentally verified. Its implementation method
has been disclosed as well. Substantive components of the legal competence of future

mechanisms’ diligence; readiness to self-development, self-education); efficient (it
represents willingness to active actions guided by the knowledge of the law and skills in
accordance with the law: to enforce the rights, to claim the rights in case of their violation,
to fulfil the responsibilities). According to the substantial pattern of the legal competence
of future doctors in Medical Law, definite criteria have been determined (motivational,
cognitive, operation); indicators of these criteria are the characteristic basis of three levels
of the legal competence formation of future doctors in Medical Law: low, middle and
high.

method; questionnaire mode; methods of statistical processing of experiment’s findings
applying Student’s t-criteria, Kolmogorov-Smirnov’s -criterion, Fisher’s *-angular
conversion.
