Essay

The profession of a carpenter is also used in machine building and other industries related to the design and manufacture of equipment. In particular a carpenter makes models of future cars or other equipment from wood in a model shop. The object of the research is the professional training of future carpenters in the system of vocational and technical education. The objective of the investigation is to develop and substantiate the model and pedagogical conditions of design and technological training of future carpenters at vocational and technical educational institutions. To achieve this objective the following tasks were set: 1. Clarify the essence of design and technological training of future carpenters in the surroundings of vocational and technical schools. 2. Determine and characterize the structure of readiness of future carpenters for design and technological activity. 3. Substantiate the approaches, principles, pedagogical conditions of design and technological training of carpenters in the surroundings of vocational and technical schools. 4. Develop a model of design and technological training of carpenters, improved by means of information and communication technologies, and experimentally test its efficacy. The scientific novelty of the obtained research results is that for the first time: - developed and substantiated a model of design and technological training of carpenters in terms of vocational school for the use of CAD - the pedagogical conditions of design and technological training of carpenters are defined and substantiated - the structure, criteria, indicators and levels of readiness for design and technological activity of carpenters in the conditions of vocational school are specified - the interpretation of the concepts "design and technological training of future carpenters", "specialized CAD of furniture" is specified. The dissertation reveals the essence of design and technological training, which is a synthesis (higher degree of integration) of its main components: design, technological, artistic and aesthetic, graphic and practical one. They are manifested in the corresponding creative activity of future professionals taking into account their individual characteristics. It has been determined, that the structure of design and technological training should be aimed at the formation of design and technological knowledge and skills. According to the structure of design and technological training in the application of specialized CAD of furniture the following training criteria have been outlined: motivational and personal, cognitive, activity and behavioral, reflexive and result with relevant indicators. Indicators of these criteria are the basis for the characteristics of four levels of readiness for design and technological activity of future carpenters: low medium sufficient creative. Taking into account the peculiarities of vocational and technical education, the organization of design and technological training of carpenters at vocational and technical schools is based on system competency and activity approaches focused on the formation of theoretical and practical readiness for design and technological activity. In the context of our research, among the most important general didactic principles of professional training to be taken into account are: traditional and specific. A model of design and technological training of carpenters has been developed, theoretically substantiated and experimentally tested. The model is a complex formation, and pedagogical technology, which includes blocks: target one and specific; content-technological one tools, forms of design and technological training;; result and diagnostic one. The results of the experiment indicate the efficacy of the suggested pedagogical conditions and the feasibility of their use in the design and technological training of future carpenters. The conducted research allowed to solve the tasks set at the beginning of work. The analysis of the results of experiment allow to draw conclusions that generally confirm the correctness of the hypothesis of the research: design and technological training will be more effective if the educational process is carried out using specialized CAD of furniture to form the professional competency of a future carpenter in providing professional service of computer design of furniture products. The technology of computer design of furniture by a future carpenter in the environment of specialized CAD of furniture has been scientifically substantiated in the research. The efficacy of the use of the developed methodological support for the study of specialized CAD of furniture in the content of the subjects “Information Technology” and “Fundamentals of Furniture Design”, on the first and third courses of study of future carpenters at vocational and technical schools has been checked and proved.
