Essay

Thesis is devoted to the study of the psychological characteristics of activating the personal self-development of a teacher in non-formal education. Theoretical approaches to the study of the problem of personal self-development of teachers in general and its activation in the conditions of non-formal education in particular are determined. The essence, components, criteria and indicators of personal self-development of the teacher are substantiated. The peculiarities of non-formal education of teachers that promote the activation of their personal self-development are determined. The state (tendencies and features) of personal self-development of a teacher is investigated. An insufficient level of both components and the general level of personal self-development of teachers in general has been established. According to the results of factor and cluster analysis, the types of teachers are determined by the development of personal actual abilities that cause imbalance of the personal sphere and hinder personal self-development. The model and the program of activation of personal self-development of the teacher in the conditions of non-formal education are developed and tested, its expediency and efficiency is proved.
