The purpose of the research is to theoretically substantiate and experimentally test the pedagogical conditions and the structural-functional model of the formation of GKMFGM by means of 4D graphics. The object of research is the professional training of future specialists in the field of mechanical engineering in higher education institutions. The subject of research is the formation of graphic competence by means of four-dimensional graphics as a component of the theory and practice of professional training of future specialists in the field of mechanical engineering in higher education institutions. Research methods: theoretical, empirical, pedagogical experiment. The practical significance of the results is: the development of educational and methodological complex for the formation of GF MFGM, such as: working program of the discipline "Engineering and Computer Graphics", elective course "Modeling of technical objects using 4D graphics in Solid Works" ( MTOZ4DG in Solid Works), laboratory workshop "Modeling of technical objects by means of 4D graphics", textbooks("Computer Graphics: Solid Works", "Four-dimensional modeling of technical objects in Solid Works") for graduates, created a web resource "Modeling of technical objects by 4D graphics in Solid Works" and a virtual learning site Online round table "; implementation in the educational process of the structural and functional model of the formation of the GF MFGM; improvement of diagnostic tools for studying the state of formation of GF MFGM by means of 4D graphics, determination of new content of professional training, work programs of disciplines "Machine Parts" and "Fundamentals of Design", electronic technologies, etc.
