Kovalchuk N. Trends and prospects of documentation management providing of the library

The dissertation is devoted to the development of theoretical and methodical principles the documentation support of the library management under the influence of information and communication technologies. Lack of special scholarly works about the problem is detected. Based on the system, functional, socio-communication, information approaches and a set of general scientific and special methods, it is determined that the documentation of library management is being reformed in the context of reforming the library industry in Ukraine. It was found that the composition of the management documentation system of the library is determined by: the role and functions due to the specifics of the content of its activities; the extent and nature of the library's relationships with users, other institutions, and higher authorities. Promising areas for improving the documentation of library management – building a communication network using a single platform for electronic document management based on distributed storage of library management documentation and access to it, taking into account the requirements for information protection.
