Lutsiv M. The specificity of the pre-trial investigation of crimes against the established order of military service (Articles 407-409 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The dissertation contains new results in the form of scientific conclusions on the characteristic the specificityof pre-trial investigation of crimes against the established order of military service (Articles 407-409 of the Criminal Code), existing law enforcement problems in this category of criminal proceedings and scientific substantiation of approaches to possible ways to overcome them. In the course of the research the scientific analysis of vital questions of reforming the system of military justice organs is carried out, it was substantiated that the pre-trial investigation of crimes under Articles 407-409 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is characterized by significant features, in particular, those concerning the application of territorial jurisdiction rules, consolidation and allocation of materials, carrying out investigative and other procedural actions, serving a notice of suspicion to a serviceman, memos on procedural rights and responsibilities, as well as their explanation if he, having committed one or more criminal offences, left for another place of service, including for combat missions, etc.
