Kos M. The professional training of future officers of the tactical level by simulation and modeling tools in the Higher Military Educational Institutions (HMEI).

The study presents the theoretical and methodological substantiation as well as the results of experimental testing of pedagogical requirements for the use of simulation in the training of future officers of the tactical level in the higher military educational institutions. It was determined that the simulation tools, used in the training of future officers of tactical level are powerful software and hardware systems that are able to create a virtual model of combat space (taking into account weather conditions, terrain, various types of combat operations, information flows, etc.) and simulate the troops activities and interaction, are also able to provide the training for modeling the decision-making procedures in the military management system and provide an opportunity to analyze the effectiveness of combat missions by the troops on tactical level. The content of ”simulation tools” was further developed by refining the definition as a powerful software and hardware complexes that create a virtual model of combat space, taking into account weather conditions, terrain, various types of combat operations, information flow, etc.) and simulate the activities and interaction of military units, provide training that simulates decision-making procedures in the military management system and allow to analyze the effectiveness of combat mission execution by tactical level units.
