The dissertation is devoted to a comprehensive study of the influence of the transatlantic community on state-building processes in Ukraine from 1991 to 2014. The paper considers modern theoretical and methodological approaches to studying the influence of the transatlantic community on the process of formation of Ukrainian statehood; Ukraine's place in the foreign policy concept of the member states of the transatlantic community is highlighted; the contractual and legal basis of bilateral relations is characterized; identified regional, transregional and international organizations that have had a significant impact on the formation of Ukraine as a state; the spheres of influence of regional, transregional and international organizations on the processes of foreign policy, domestic policy and economic development of Ukraine are traced; the political and security dimension of Ukraine's cooperation with other states from the point of view of state formation is outlined.
