The thesis aims to develop, substantiate and experimentally test the effectiveness of information and methodological support aimed at developing the digital competence of employees of organizational and educational university units. The object of the research is the digital competence of employees of organizational and educational university units; the subject of the research is information and methodological support for the development of digital competence of employees of organizational and educational university units. The relevance of the research problem is conditioned by the widespread introduction of modern digital technology not only directly in education components, but also in the organization of educational process, which ensures both the general development of education system and enhanced digital competence of employees of organizational and educational units. However, the development of digital competence of employees of organizational and educational university units related to the use of modern electronic technology, in particular G Suite services, during the organization of the educational process, has not been thoroughly studied. The issue is exacerbated by the low level of mastery of digital skills by employees of organizational and educational university units, insufficient (rather low) readiness for effective use of modern digital technology. This significantly reduces the consistency of actions of these employees with the requirements of today, reduces their competitiveness and the quality of work, which naturally leads to the deterioration of organization of the educational process in the university. The issue of development of digital competence of employees of the organizational and educational university units has been theoretically studied. The concept of “digital competence of the employee of the organizational and educational university unit” has been substantiated as integrated and based on motivation, the capacity of experts for self-development, improvement of acquired knowledge, skills and digital skills for further professional growth and effective use of acquired knowledge and skills in fulfilling professional responsibilities through modern digital technology. The structure of digital competence of employees of organizational and educational university units (value and motivational, information and knowledge, operational and activity components) has been determined; the criteria for determining the level of digital competence of employees of organizational and educational university units: criteria (motivational, cognitive, activity-related), levels (low, sufficient, high) were developed. The information and methodological support for the development of digital competence of employees of organizational and educational university units as a complex of necessary and sufficient learning conditions, based on a proper information base for studying digital technology allowing the employees of organizational and educational university units to develop digital competence to improve the job performance (trainings, master classes, workshops, consultations, use of modern digital technology, in particular G Suite services) was substantiated. The effectiveness of the developed information and methodological support for the development of digital competence has been experimentally tested and evaluated.
