Essay

The object of the research: interaction of stress (negative life events) and personal factors, that contribute to the formation of chemical addiction. The purpose of the research: to substantiate psycho-corrective measures for work with chemical addicts within the framework of the program "12 Steps" on the basis of deepening scientific ideas about the role of personal factors and stress in the formation of the personality of a chemical addict. The methods: theoretical (analysis of psychological literature), empirical (psychodiagnostic method) and mathematical-statistical. Scientific novelty: the role of early trauma in the development of chemical addiction was further developed, namely: the decisive factor of early trauma is the absence or insufficiency of empathic moderation of the quality of child-parent relations and the problem of building of inclination; the definition of addictive personality has been supplemented, namely, that in its structure there are such personal parameters as "neuroticism", "honesty", "extraversion", insufficient "openness of experience", "conflict", "aggression", "anxiety", "insecurity" and "negativism"; for the first time the most specific traumatic events of childhood were identified, namely: emotional or physical violence on the part of parents; parental dependence on alcohol, drugs or medications, which are most strongly associated with the likelihood of chemical dependence; the typology of persons with chemical addiction was further developed, namely: "vulnerable - conflicting", "anxious - aggressive" and "impulsive-reactive"; the system of psycho-correctional measures for representatives of each type of chemical dependence is offered. The practical value of research: to create psycho-correctional measures within the framework of the program "12 Steps", the introduction of an algorithm for providing social support and counseling of addicts to psychoactive substances. Sphere of use: higher educational institutions, psychological services.
