Pereviznyk V. Mechanisms of the state gender policy development.

Object of research: the state gender policy. The research objective is to substantiate the theoretical foundations and develop practical recommendations for improving the mechanisms of public administration of the state gender policy formation. Methods: hypothetical-deductive method of the thesis research methodology formation, deductive proof of the research hypothesis, structural-functional analysis, a number of comparative methods, statistical method, prognostic method, theoretical-conceptual method. Results: the scientific task of developing theoretical foundations and substantiation of scientific and applied recommendations for improving the mechanisms of public administration of the gender policy formation has been solved. Novelty: the strategic directions of the state policy formation in the field of gender equality, based on the integration of forms, methods and tools of state action into a single organizational and legal mechanism which includes normative-informational and organizational and ensures gender-oriented policy aimed at institutional changes in the conditions of civil society development towards equalization of opportunities of gender groups have been substantiated; the methodology for assessing the institutional mechanism of the state gender policy which is based on a comprehensive analysis of functional management and is aimed to increase the gender culture and gender competence of existing civil servants has been improved; tools and directions of foreign experience systematization for the implementation and formation of the state gender policy, as a set of organizational structures, regulatory framework, forms, methods and tools of state action have been defined; further developed: methodological approaches to determining the stages of the state gender policy formation and directions of its implementation in the field of gender relations where gender policy is an integral part of the state social policy, being in a relationship of interaction and interdependence; determining the main criteria for analyzing the implementation of organizational and legal mechanism of public administration of gender policy due to the growing importance of traditionalist gender norms of public policy and governance, and can be implemented in social, informational, cultural and demographic spheres of society.
