Chorna K. Infotainment in the art of television broadcasting in Ukraine at the beginning of the XXI century

The dissertation is devoted to revealing the specifics, problems and prospects of infotainment functioning in modern domestic television art, on the basis of development and substantiation of its semantic characteristics as a conceptual category. In the dissertation for the first time in the Ukrainian art history considered and analyzed the peculiarities of infotainment realization in television documentary on the example of docudrama; the methods and techniques of production of Ukrainian television documentary drama in the context of global informatization of screen art are analyzed and the content-structural aspects of its realization are determined. Problems and possibilities of realization of the concept "infotainment" in the context of specificity of docudrama as a new genre formation of modern teleart art are revealed. It is determined that infotainment is not only a system of tools and a set of rhetorical techniques to facilitate the educational, informational and educational functions of television, but the ultimate goal in the process of popularizing the art of television.
