Didukh T. Development of global outsourcing in the IT business

The dissertation is devoted to substantiation and estimation of determinants of IT outsourcing’s development in the conditions of global transformations, definition of global prospects and strategic directions of development of the Ukrainian companies in the international trade in outsourcing services in the field of IT. The conceptual bases and specifics of formation of global outsourcing on the basis of studying and systematisation of scientific approaches concerning the specified problems are studied. There are four categories of features, according to which the main factors influencing the formation of global IT outsourcing are classified. The main directions of global outsourcing regulation are considered, the institutional support of IT services’ global outsourcing regulation in the global trading system is analysed and systematised. A conceptual approach to assessing the country's competitive position in the global IT outsourcing market is suggested, based on the use of a modified method of SWOT-analysis, with the author's system of indicators and evaluation indicators covering the scope of the research process and assessing the competitive position of Ukraine and countries which are the leaders of global IT outsourcing (Ireland, India, USA, Ukraine). The study was conducted based on statistical and analytical data on the functioning of this area as of the end of 2020. Strengths and weaknesses of the international competitiveness of IT outsourcing in these countries were identified, which will formulate further development prospects.
