Essay

The thesis deals with the theoretical basis of informationa l and analytical support officers’ professional competence development in the postgraduate education system. The essence and structure of their professional competence are specified. Organizational and pedagogical conditions for the development of their professional competence in the system of postgraduate education are substantiated.Pedagogical modeling of gradual development of informational and analytical support officers’ professional competence development is carried out. It includes interconnected and interdependent target-methodological, content-functional, subjective, organizational-activity and diagnostic-effective blocks, for the implementation of which the methodology of its contextual development is improved. An objective assessment of the analysts professional competence development were committed and the levels of its deve lopment - low, medium and high were established. The effectiveness of organizational and pedagogical conditions of its development has been experimentally confirmed. Methodical recommendations for its development have been developed and implemented. The obtained results of the research can be used in the system of officer training in higher educational institutions. They also can be used for training students of operational level courses of the National Defense University of Ukraine named after Ivan Cherniakhovskyi as well, and officers in higher education institutions of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and Security Service of Ukraine.
