Moldavan A. Developing Entrepreneurship Competence in Future Masters in Physical Culture and Sports.

The thesis determines and experimentally verifies the pedagogical conditions for developing entrepreneurship competence in future masters in physical culture and sports. They are the following: boosting motivation towards entrepreneurship; introducing the author’s course, titled “Entrepreneurial Activity in the Field of Physical Culture and Sports”; using simulation learning technologies; implementing an integrative educational and methodical omplex for preparing future masters for entrepreneurial activity. The conceptual basis for enabling these conditions includes axiological, acmeological, systemic, competence-based, personality-oriented, pragmatist, integrative and contextual approaches. The thesis presents a functional model for developing entrepreneurship competence in future masters in physical culture and sports. This process lies in onsidering specific features of this integrative quality associated with socio-economic, psychological and activity-related features of the phenomenon, as well as in specifying axiological and ideological orientations, ways of professional performance, patterns of behaviour and professionally significant qualities which holistically reflect one’s readiness for entrepreneurial activity when performing professional tasks. These tasks are as follows: to analyze market opportunities for physical culture and sports services; to try various economic roles; to objectively assess one’s inclination to entrepreneurship; to start various forms of business in physical culture.
