The dissertation is devoted to the construction of pre-competitive training of cadets-athletes of different groups of sports, to competitions in military-aviation pentathlon, namely to overcoming the obstacle course and orienteering. The following research methods were used in the work: theoretical analysis and generalization of data of scientific and methodical literature and experience of leading practice; pedagogical research methods (analysis of training loads, conversations, observations, chronometry, pedagogical testing, pedagogical experiment); methods of anthropometric research: somatoscopic - external examination of the skin, mucous membranes, determining the degree of development of the subcutaneous fat layer, musculoskeletal system - general health; somatometric - the coefficient of proportionality (CP), the strength index of the physique (SIM) according to Pinier; physiometric - absolute muscle strength of the flexors of the hand (AMSFH) using a dynamometer Colin, dynamic endurance (DEM) of the muscles of the arms, legs, abdomen, static strength endurance (SSE) of the back muscles; functional: determination of blood pressure, blood pressure response to exercise, Rufier index (IR), physical performance on the test PWC170; psychometric: determination of the profile of functional interhemispheric asymmetry (PDPIA), complex visual-motor reaction (CVMR), level of situational anxiety (SA) according to the Spielberg-Khanin questionnaire, type of temperament according to R. Eisenko's test, self-assessment of willpower according to M. Obozov's test, estimation properties of the nervous system according to the tapping test of E. Ilyin, self-assessment of the stability of the nervous system on the scale of well-being of V. Doskin, assessment of mental activity with the help of a proofreading test according to Anfimov's table; sensorimotor coordination (assessment of motor-coordination qualities): Biryuk test, Barani test, test with forward overturns, coordination test in difficult conditions, landing test, spatial orientation test, dynamic equilibrium test. For the first time, the content of pre-competition training in the system of two-cycle annual macrocycle of cadets-athletes with the use of crossfit exercises and cognitive trainings for performance in competitions with MAP was developed. The dynamics of changes in physiometric, functional and psychometric parameters during the annual macrocycle in the studied groups under the influence of experimental training programs is determined. It is established that the combination of motor coordination exercises, crossfit exercises and cognitive training in pre-competition training with MAP cadets-athletes, allows to develop the maximum number of competencies necessary for effective preparation for competitions in overcoming the obstacle course and orienteering. It is established that during the selection of cadets-athletes in the national team with MAP necessary and important is the stage of screening for physiometric, functional and psychometric condition, according to the level of reference values of static indicators - which are further criteria for selection for the national team.
