Object – professional preparation of future foreign language teachers in higher educational institutions of Poland; the purpose is to analyze the theoretical provisions and generalize the practice of preparation future teachers of foreign languages in higher education institutions of Poland for professional activities in the system of adult education for the creative use of constructive ideas of European experience in modern higher education of Ukraine; methods – general scientific methods (analysis, synthesis, comparison, collation, generalization), special (problem-target, information-descriptive, prognostic); novelty – for the first time the content component of preparation of future teachers of foreign languages for professional activity in the system of adult education, which consists of professional, psychological-pedagogical, didactic, methodical, research and practical preparation is revealed; the idea of forms and methods of preparation of future teachers of foreign languages for professional activity in the system of adult education is deepened; legislative acts, educational programs, plans of the leading universities of Poland on preparation of the future teachers of foreign languages for professional activity in system of adult education are entered into scientific circulation; results – research materials open new opportunities for further research in the field of comparative studies, contribute to the improvement of the content, forms and methods of preparation of future teachers of foreign languages for professional activity in the system of adult education in Ukraine.
