Essay

The thesis deals with the issue of developing economic culture in junior electrical technicians during professional training. It clarifies the essence of economic culture of junior electrical technicians. Besides, it determines its structure, criteria, indicators and levels in junior electrical technicians during professional training. The thesis identifies, justifies and experimentally verifies effective pedagogical conditions for developing economic culture in junior electrical technicians during professional training. These pedagogical conditions are the following: boosting the motivation of junior electrical technicians to develop economic culture; involving students in group activities aimed at developing economic culture; using innovative technologies of teaching and learning in professional training of junior electrical technicians. The thesis presents the author’s model for developing economic culture in junior electrical technicians during professional training. The model consists of such blocks as goals, methods, procedures, content and results. The thesis also improves the content, methods and technologies used in professional training of junior electrical technicians. Finally, the thesis further develops the diagnostic toolset one can use to determine levels of economic culture in junior electrical technicians.
