Object of study – professional training of future specialists in physical therapy, occupational therapy in higher education institutions. The purpose of the study is to develop, theoretically substantiate and experimentally test the effectiveness of the model of forming the readiness of future specialists in physical therapy, occupational therapy for professional activities in rehabilitation centers. The scientific novelty and theoretical significance is that for the first time the model of formation of readiness of future specialists in physical therapy, occupational therapy for professional activity in rehabilitation centers is developed, theoretically substantiated and experimentally tested. This model consists of purpose, theoretical and methodological, procedural and criterion-evaluation blocks, is based on methodological approaches and principles, describes the forms, methods, means and stages. Pedagogical conditions of effective implementation of the model of formation of readiness of future specialists in physical therapy, occupational therapy for professional activity in rehabilitation centers (updating the content of professional-oriented disciplines taking into account the specifics of professional activity in rehabilitation centers; the using of innovative technologies in the educational process) level of higher education in the field of knowledge 22 "Health" specialty 227 "Physical therapy, occupational therapy"; integration of theoretical and practical training in the process of internships in rehabilitation centers) are justified. Criteria (motivational, information-cognitive, operational, professional-personal), indicators and levels (low, medium, high) of readiness of future specialists in physical therapy, occupational therapy for professional activity in rehabilitation centers and diagnostic tools for their measurement are revealed. The essence of the concepts «rehabilitation center», «readiness of future specialists in physical therapy, occupational therapy for professional activities in rehabilitation centers» and «the formation of readiness of future specialists in physical therapy, occupational therapy to professional activity in rehabilitation centers» is specified. The structural components of readiness of future specialists in physical therapy, occupational therapy for professional activity in rehabilitation centers (motivational-value, cognitive, activity-practical, personal) are revealed.
