Essay

It analyzes the problems of professional training of future English teachers, the role of the English language in the international educational space; organizational, pedagogical, methodological and didactic aspects of professional training of future English teachers by means of distance learning; psychological and pedagogical bases of readiness of students and teachers to use distance learning tools; the theory of the development of distance learning in higher educational institutions, reforming and improving the professional training of future English teachers in both traditional and distance learning. The analysis of the psychological and pedagogical principles of professional training of future English teachers show the need to adapt the didactic process to the needs of modern students, representatives of the new generation – generation Z, who need different approaches to learning and taking into account a personality-oriented approach to the formation of the worldview of each participant, assessment of opportunities of modern students, a change in the relationship between a student and a teacher in the educational environment, the adaptation of this generation to multitasking, the formation of new competencies for future English teachers such as an organizer and moderator of educational activities, teacher's readiness to teach generation Z. The conditions for professional training of future English language teachers by means of distance learning have been determined. A model of organizational and pedagogical support of professional training of future English language teachers by means of distance learning has been theoretically substantiated and developed. The key elements of which are a teacher, a student and a virtual learning environment in which they interact remotely in space and time, synchronously or asynchronously. Educational platforms, interactive services, software for solving professional and academic problems are also characterized. The comparison of the characteristics of educational programs for training of future English teachers at the universities of the Republic of Poland and in higher educational institutions of Ukraine revealed the peculiarities of their contents and structure, as well as distance learning standards and forms of education. The generalization of revealed features has made it possible to elaborate scientific and methodological recommendations to improve the professional training of future English language teachers in higher educational institutions of Ukraine at the national level, at the level of a higher educational institution and at the teacher – student level.
