The scientific novelty of the research is that for the first time the methodology of the development of English language professional competence in the spoken interaction and production of future doctors in a multicultural environment has been theoretically substantiated, designed, and experimentally tested based on the level categorization of differences between high-context and low-context communication cultures; three stages (preparatory-orientational, structural-communicative and final (reflective)) of formation of English language professional competence in the spoken interaction and production of students of multinational groups majoring in Medicine have been formed; the influence of the category of context (i.e. attribution to a high-context or a low-context communication culture) on the peculiarities of perception, cultural, verbal and non-verbal behaviour of individuals has been explained.
