The thesis focuses on the complex of problems concerning formation and estimation the consumer properties of domestic production’s tourist footwear. On the base of analysis the state world footwear market, its main problems have been identified. Theoretically justified the expediency of using the existing and developing own innovations to improve the level consumer properties of tourist footwear, studying and taking into account foreign experience (in particular, study the most successful models of tourist footwear on the market and patent search). The solution of commodity problems in the choice of materials for tourist footwear is carried out by formulating requirements for materials the specific types of these footwear, establishing the nomenclature, weight of consumer properties and so on. Experimentally proved that materials based on bamboo fibers should be used to establish domestic production of tourist footwear, as the complex indicator level of the quality exceeds the similar indicator of materials traditionally used for this purpose. It is confirmed the expediency of using bamboo-containing materials for forming packages of the upper tourist footwear materials and proved that in terms of hygienic and functional properties, they are better than traditional cotton materials. The experimental consignment was made, experimental investigation of domestic tourist footwear was carried out and the results of the thesis research were introduced into production. The social and economical efficiency of the introduction into the manufacture of footwear tourist with an improved package of materials based on bamboo-containing textile materials has been calculated.
