The dissertation is a comprehensive study of the security activities of ASEAN in the process of forming the security architecture in Southeast Asia during rapid dynamics of regional rebalancing of geostrategic space in the post-bipolar period. Its conclusions and results provide an understanding of the dynamics and main security trends in Southeast Asia. The thesis analyzed the legal, axiological and praxeological principles of the Association on the example of the ASEAN Community as a basic security initiative of the organization, aimed at ensuring the necessary level of cooperation between member states in addressing pressing security issues in Southeast Asia.
