The dissertation presents the paremic work of Ukrainians as a kind of oral tradition of fixing the attributes of God, investigates the effect of religious factors on the worldview and philosophy of life of the people, its moral principles, as well as the peculiarities of their Christian teaching, understanding of Christian ethics. A large layer of proverbs related to the verbal form of folk piety and expressing views and ideas based on the belief in the dependence of human life and the results of his work on the will of the Creator, His mercy, willingness to surrender to the care, protection and protection of the Almighty.
