Shevtsova O. Ecological and economic reasoning of broiler production by-products handling

The dissertation deepens the theoretical, methodological and practical provisions that determine the ecological and economic justification of the treatment of by-products of broiler poultry in the conditions of intensive industrial production. It is proved that the integrative combination of methods, techniques and principles allows to form a system of treatment of by-products taking into account ecological and economic features of modern intensive broiler poultry farming in the context of formation of conceptual bases of sustainable development. The introduction of a system of handling by-products is justified, which consists in creating closed production cycles with recycling of raw materials, when each final link of one production serves as the initial link of the next, as a result of which unused by-products enter the environment and minimize negative consequences for the environment. The normative-legal base on the treatment of animal by-products in Ukraine and the European Union in the comparative aspect of the implementation of domestic legislation to the legislation of the European Union is analyzed and generalized. Methodological and methodical approaches to the formation of the system of treatment of by-products of broiler production are studied and proposed. It is theoretically substantiated that the system of handling by-products of animal origin includes the following components: formation, collection, transportation, storage, processing, processing, disposal, utilization, disposal. The economic feasibility of using organo-mineral fertilizers has been theoretically proved and practically confirmed. This is a promising area of handling by-products of broiler production and takes into account modern environmentally friendly requirements for agricultural production.
