Essay

The thesis deals with the study of issues of professional training of agricultural engineers in the system of higher education in France. The features of the structure, content, forms, methods of training in the process of professional training of these specialists in French higher engineering schools are determined: a modular system of training with an integrative modular control by the commission; interdisciplinary structuring of learning content; the professionalization of training based on the principles of pedagogical innovation, the combination of academic experience and professional specialists and close cooperation of engineering schools with professional circles during their studies; orientation of agrarian engineers to fulfill, first of all, their management function; implementation of a three-year engineering project that is being carried out by the future engineer of an agricultural profile in production. A structuralfunctional scheme of professional training of agricultural engineers in universities and higher engineering schools in France is presented, which reflects the content of the training of these specialists during three years of study. The main historical stages of development of higher agricultural and engineering education in France are characterized. The structure and content of training programs for the training of agricultural engineers in France and Ukraine are analyzed. The expediency of using the experience of French higher engineering schools in the process of professional training of agricultural engineers in Ukraine (empowerment of non-formal education with subsequent certification of competencies acquired by a specialist, the introduction of internal and external mobility of students through training as a mandatory component of the curriculum, flexibility of components, the implementation of end-toend engineering project).
